What we collect

• Your account email address, held by our authentication provider so you can log in.
• Your brand kit: the colors and fonts you save to style your exports.
• Your export records and the settings used to make them, kept while your account is active.
• Request logs: every search, browse and agent request. Each log holds the query, how many results came back, the filters and theme used, your browser user agent, your user ID if you are logged in, an approximate location worked out from your IP address, and the time.
• Purchase records from Stripe, such as what you bought, when, and the amount.

Payments are handled by Stripe. Doodars never sees or stores your card number.

Why we use it

• To run your account, take payment, and produce and deliver your exports.
• To keep the service secure and to spot abuse.
• To see which elements and searches are useful, so the library gets better.
• To send you transactional email about your account, purchases and exports.
• To meet our legal duties, such as keeping tax records.

Our lawful bases

• Contract: running your account, taking purchases, and making your exports.
• Legitimate interests: request logging, security, and improving the product. We keep these logs minimal and do not use them to build profiles about you.
• Consent: analytics and advertising cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time.
• Legal obligation: keeping records of purchases for tax purposes.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers, and only for the purposes above. We do not sell your personal data.

• A database and login provider.
• Stripe - payments and subscription billing.
• An email delivery provider for transactional email.
• File storage and website hosting providers.
• Google (Tag Manager, Analytics 4), Meta and PostHog - analytics and advertising, only if you consent.

Cookies

Only one cookie is essential: the login session cookie that keeps you signed in. It is always set, because the site cannot work without it.

The non-essential cookies and tags are Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, the Meta Pixel, and PostHog analytics. They are only set after you accept them in the cookie banner. We use Google Consent Mode, so the Google and advertising tags respect your choice.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time from the “Cookie settings” link in the footer, or by clearing this site’s cookies in your browser.

How long we keep it

Account details, brand kits, export records and settings are kept while your account is active. Request logs are kept for as long as they are useful for security and product work, and then deleted. Purchase records are kept for as long as tax law requires.

Deleting your account

Your rights

Under UK GDPR and EU GDPR you can ask us to:

• Pause our use of your data while something is being sorted out (restriction).
• Send your data to you or another provider in a portable form (portability).
• Stop using your data where we rely on legitimate interests (objection).
• Withdraw consent for analytics and advertising cookies at any time.
