Terms of Service

The rules for using Doodars. By using the site you agree to them.

Last updated: September 6, 2026

Who you are dealing with

Doodars is operated by [TRADING NAME], a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. Address: [UK CONTACT ADDRESS]. You can reach us at [SUPPORT EMAIL].

The service

Doodars is a library and store of animated elements for video creators. You browse elements, configure them with a theme, your brand colors and your own data, and export video files. On some tiers you can also buy the element’s code.

Exports on the free tier carry a Doodars badge. Paid tiers remove it. What you can use your exports for is set out on the License page.

Your account

  • One account per person. Do not share it.
  • Keep your login details safe and tell us at [SUPPORT EMAIL] if you think someone else has got into your account.
  • You are responsible for what happens under your account.
  • You must be old enough to enter into a contract where you live.

Acceptable use

Please do not:

  • Scrape or bulk-download the catalog.
  • Resell or redistribute Doodars elements, exports or code, except as the License page allows.
  • Use Doodars to make unlawful content, or content that infringes someone else’s rights.
  • Try to break, overload, or get around the limits of the service.

If you break these rules we may suspend or close your account. Where it is fair to do so, we will warn you first.

Subscriptions and caps

  • Subscriptions are monthly or annual and renew automatically until you cancel.
  • You can cancel at any time from the Stripe customer portal. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for, and you keep access until then.
  • Each tier has a monthly cap on clean (unwatermarked) renders. Once you hit the cap you can keep exporting with the Doodars badge, or move up a tier.
  • You can also buy one-off exports and element code without a subscription.

Prices and changes

Prices can change. If a price change affects your subscription we will tell you before it takes effect, and you can cancel before it does.

Refunds

Refunds are covered on the Refunds page.

Availability

The service is provided as-is. We do not guarantee any level of uptime, and features may change or be withdrawn as the product develops. We do try to keep it running and to give notice of anything major.

Liability

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for lost profits, lost data, or indirect losses.

If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are not affected by these terms.

Ending your account

You can close your account at any time - see the Privacy page. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Files you have already exported stay licensed to you.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will update the date at the top of this page and tell you by email or a notice on the site before it takes effect.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK or the EU, you keep the protection of your local law.
